Urban Farm School

The Christmas season is upon us and Kendra and I have compiled a list of gifts from the gardener and for the gardener. We have also included a gift offer from us, Urban Farm School, to you our dear students. Be Merry and Bright!

Gifts from the Garden: Canned jellies and jams, pickles and other canned goods. Fresh from the garden: rosemary, beets, parsnips, kale and cabbage. Created from the garden: wreaths, centerpieces, and arrangements. Get crafty: birdseed pinecones, lavender firestarters, and moss bundles.

Gifts for the Gardener: statuary, bird feeders, rusty stuff we can stick outside without guilt, neoprene dipped gloves (Fred’s has good ones), gift certificates to nurseries and seed catalogs ( to feed the addiction), gardening books, new pruners/ loppers (because we never know where the old ones are), sharpening kit, hand balm, lotion, foot rubs;).

Through January 22 we are offering 6 classes for the price of 5 when paid in advance; you pick any of the spring classes (January through June) you want to attend and pay only $75 instead of $90.
