1~ crunchy leaves; love the sound, love the smell, love ‘em in my compost and in my mulch!

2~ hot tea and warm blankets and good books

3~ scamming free leaves from my neighbors; see #1

4~ harvest moon hanging low and orange in the dusky twilight

5~ the pungent smell of rain, damp earth and wet leaves

6~ standing in the slanted sunrays watching the swirling leaves in the breeze (I have a thing for the leaves!)

7~ making the garden nice and tidy

8~ setting up harvesty pumpkins and such on the front porch

9~ the amazingly acrobatic spiders leaving their sparkly webs all over the yard; most impressive, even if you don’t like spiders!

10~ spicy baked apple everything! yum!
